Thursday, March 10, 2011 (11:51 PM) ~jaPoshi I do believe I ran into a road-bump. After my last update, I moved into a new place and lost all focus. I can't figure out what I want this site to be. I remember what it was, and back then this site was kick ass, but laws and technology have changed. By that I mean: Streaming video, sharing music, and uploading scanned manga all became a no-no in the USA around the new millennium. Besides, there are now so many better/easier ways to get your anime-fix on the internet. Fansubbing has also grown tremendously and the otaku is grateful for it. So I say, where does this site stand among the internet? Maybe, instead of trying to take back a slot as one of the "top anime sites on the net" (it's a fools errand), I should keep it small, personal, make it for me and my friends. Clearly I still have things to figure out before moving forward.

Over the last couple of days, I've added two or three Video Game Reviews, setup the Shop links ((you can find those in the above menu)), partnered with the Darkside.Gamerz:// forum, and put together the Wallpapers Section of the site. I believe that's it for now. For those of you out there that have somehow found your way to my site, feel free to leave me some feed back ((you can find my e-mail address below - contact page has not been setup yet)) and sorry for the lack of content... it's a work in progress. Oh yea, I also set up the Search Page with a custom Google Engine, but it doesn't seem to work right, maybe it just need more time to "crawl", in order to give you better results. Oh well, if it doesn't end up working, I'll figure something else out later.
Wednesday, May 12, 2010 (09:04 PM) ~jaPoshi I've been working my ass off just designing the new layout for this site. It may not be the most impressive thing out there, but you have to figure... it's been 6 years since I've even touched HTML code. So now that I have the layout built, all I have to do is setup the content for the rest of the site, which will be tough since a lot of the site's content was lost when our old server shutdown, but... no pressure. I doubt anybody is holding their breath, waiting for this site to be fully functional again. With that said, I should note that I will no longer be referring to myself as "AnimeJr", that handle has long-since died off, just call me "jaPoshi" ("Poshi" for short)... all my friends do.
